The eyes are the mirror of the soul and like a mirror, they also reflect the person looking into them
Paulo Coelbo
“When I opened my eyes my world had changed. Gone were the shadows, gone were the fears. I looked again in the mirror, my eyes sparkling and pure as I have never seen them before. My skin glowing, radiant. I felt as if enveloped in a soft cloak of light and love. Shadows of anxiety and self-doubt a thing of yesterday.”

Two stories from the same era…
‘Young Rod Stewart’ Twin book edition. Rod + Angus.
In this book (paperback or hardcover) we have combined two books.
Both stories, both lives, intertwined.
‘Young Rod Stewart’ is an enigmatic photo album of Rod in the swinging sixties enjoying the fleshpots of London, Hastings, and Brighton. Replete with hippies, mods, rockers and my trusty motorbike.
A small section of our lives and friends in black and white. An epoch frozen in time.
‘Angus’
The story of Clive Amor affectionately known as Angus. About our schooling, about kids growing up in the sixties, about party life and drugs and our friendship with Rod set against the backdrop of swinging London and the beaches of Hastings and Brighton.
This is about Clive`s death caused by Mandrake, about the press reports of the mysterious ‘parsnip’ in his bed, witchcraft, and toads, about the coroner’s and pathologists’ inept conclusions, and why no one connected so many obvious pieces of evidence.
“We owe it to his memory to find out,”
said the coroner in 1967.
We did find out, and it’s not what the coroner concluded.
This book, Angus, is in memory of our friend.
Angus available as a separate book plus ‘Young Rod Stewart’, the original book, and ‘El Joven Rod Stewart’ for Spanish readers.

The pros and cons of an all-electric galley.
Or add a radio control to your bow thruster and anchor winch. Simply and cheaply.
Loads of ideas with full details, hints and tips.
A book for grownup children and child-like grownups and most other humans.
This is about Cecil, a Landrover with attitude – a happy attitude – growing up in his beloved Cornwall. All the stories are mixed with humour and light-hearted satire of a culture obsessed with the belief that the ‘right’ car will endow the owners with the ‘right’ image.
He interacts with a diverse and easily recognized character set; Fred the Cockney Ford. Maurice the Mercedes and Brunswig the BMW – the ‘posh’ cars from the village. Margo, his auntie, who is a Morris 1000 and many more including his old friend, Michael the Milk Float.
There are seven stories in all. From his first outing, he ended up in a ditch with Brunswig the BMW.
Learn the truth about the ‘Beast of Bodmin Moor’ and Cats, school dinner ladies from outer Space, nagging Christmas trees and much more and his heroic record as a diplomat in South America and his foe, the crazy Pedro, a Bishimatsus with one headlamp, an overheating sump and as much sense as a rusty can of baked beans.
Enjoy a fun read…

For many fathers going through divorce or separation, the first time his children come to ‘spend time with ‘Daddy’ is probably the first time he has had continuous, sole responsibility for more than a few hours, let alone days or even weeks at a time.
This is a practical book written from my personal experience on all aspects of single parenting, from (the injustice of) family law and how to get over that – to how to handle a temper tantrum in a supermarket – to nutrition – to health and safety…

Get out of debt, and refuse to pay without breaking the law.
If you are struggling with a credit card or an unsecured bank loan, you may find yourself in a situation where you have to make a choice: you can either eat or pay the monthly fee – you can’t do both.
What if you chose not to pay? What if you said, “Enough is enough!”? What if you declared that you would not be a slave to debt while bankers pocket millions in bonuses financed by fines and exorbitant interest rates imposed on people who are genuinely suffering?
The banks and their agencies create their own rules. Refuse to obey and implement your own.
Their tactic is intimidation and bullying.
You will not be intimidated or bullied..

J.H.Cavendish
They machine-gun innocent people in our theatres, shopping malls and on our beaches. They bomb our planes or fly them into skyscrapers. They drive trucks and cars into crowds slaughtering and maiming.
In their home countries, they decapitate and torture those they consider the ‘Kuffar’. They rape, murder and destroy. They are planning their next attack right now.
The evil world of religious terrorists is replete with words few in the West understand.
This book untangles the jargon. What is a Sunni or a Shia, a caliphate or a shadada?
Why do radical Islamists crave a martyr’s death… and why do they hate us so much?
Vietnam was a more comfortable war – unless, of course, you were fighting there.
We did not have the Vietcong flying aircraft into American skyscrapers, shooting British tourists on holiday beaches, machine gunning a crowd at a rock concert in Paris, or driving trucks into crowds.
The Far East was as the name suggests – it was far! And that was comfortable – it was too far away to matter – until now. We have believed for so long that these are foreign places and should always belong in foreign places – apart from ´our´ oil that is, and apart from an uncomfortable bit with the Suez Canal and the British and Nasser in 1956 and of course, the first invasion of Iraq known as The Gulf War (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991), and Operation Desert Storm (17 January 1991 – 28 February 1991)…. and, and!

Cure Cancer?
My Story … Tobias V Gibrasky
We have all lost friends and family to that terrible disease. We have all witnessed the suffering—from surgery and chemotherapy.
In 2018, someone very close to me passed away after years of battling cancer. I saw that she suffered more from the treatment than the cancer. It left me asking, Why?—a question that feels both reasonable and haunting.
Then, in 2023, it was my turn. I was diagnosed with a suspected tumour in my colon and another between my heart and lung – which doctors deemed inoperable. Even a biopsy was considered too risky. My oncologist documented me as ‘high risk. ’Very unnerving.
I was faced with daunting options—such as removing the infected section of my colon, fitting a colostomy bag, and undergoing chemotherapy—I chose a different path. I took a pragmatic approach. I opted for relatively minor surgery to remove the colon tumour, accepting the risk that it might return. At the same time, I immersed myself in research, exploring every possible avenue for healing.
Through my journey, I discovered that potential solutions fall into three categories—or a combination of them:
I chose to combine these approaches. I underwent minor surgery, practised mind-body healing techniques from the books I read, and sought out natural remedies.

I opted for relatively minor surgery to remove the colon tumor, accepting the risk that it might return.
One title, in particular, caught my attention: ”Cure Cancer with Carrots by Ann Cameron. At first, I thought it was a joke—especially given Ann’s background as a children’s book illustrator and the cartoonish cover featuring a carrot-shaped doctor with a stethoscope.
But curiosity got the better of me. I bought the book, read it multiple times, and found it incredibly well-written. Ann Cameron had faced the same cancers as me—colon and lung. She shared how she bought a juicer, drank a litre of carrot juice daily for three months, and returned to her oncologist to find the cancer gone.
Inspired by her story, I followed suit. After my minor surgery, I waited. Five months later, I underwent another examination and a PET scan. The results were astonishing: my colon was clear, and the lung tumour had shrunk. My oncologist even remarked, “You now have a higher chance of being hit by a meteorite than dying from cancer.”
Ann Cameron’s book was a turning point for me, and I highly recommend it. Inspired by her work, I’ve written my own book—my version of the story. In it, I go into greater detail and offer a different perspective, but with the same empowering message. Drawing from my personal experience, I feel uniquely qualified to share my journey and the remedies that helped me.
My book, ‘Cure Cancer with Falcarinol, Luteolin, Beta-Carotene, Zeaxanthin, Anthocyanins, Riboflavin, and Vitamins A, B, D, C, & K1—Plus a Juicer’, delves into the natural compounds and practices that played a crucial role in my healing. It’s a testament to the power of combining conventional medicine, the mind-body connection, and natural remedies.

A crazy story of a beautiful world
Deep within the fifth quantum universe, there is a perfect globe serviced by two suns.
The inhabitants of this world are direct descendants of the Gibbon – as human’s nearest descendants are the chimpanzee.
Gibbonia is both a civilisation and a philosophy. We have no monetary system – we are advanced enough not to need one, thus releasing two-thirds of the population from accounting, ruling, and administering the petty units of power with its unfair distribution of a concept that was known by older civilisations as ‘wealth’.
Neither do we rape our planet by the inefficient extraction and combustion of fossil fuels.
We have no direct government, therefore war is not possible without rulers making rules to kill in the name of said rulers.
Still in the drafting stage – Join our mailing list to be notified when due for publication and a glass of Gibbonian marsh cucumber gin will be yours.
This is a new site under construction. We still have many more books to add.
If you are an independent author and have a book that you would like to promote, via social media, or videos, please we would love you to contact us.
We can take care of typesetting, editing, proofreading, cover design and even the final publication to Amazon.
The Smile Her Lips Began
The Smile… a novel, set in Venice, a story of a spirit, of a love that never dies …
From a poem by M.H.Davies
“What is this life if full of care
If we dont have time to stand and stare.
No time to see in broad daylight streams full of stars like skys at night.
No time to see at beauties glance and watch her feet how they can dance.
No time to see her eyes begin to enrich the smile her lips began.
Hitchhikers Guide to
Ocean Sailing
Mary Southwood
Before Mary died from cancer we got together to create a diary of her adventures.
And there were many:
She had sailed the world twice, the Atlantic four times, the Caribbean, the Philippines, and of course with me on the Thames then around the English and French coasts and then the Mediteranian
She kept all her notes and transcripts on a collection of floppy disks.
Then they disappeared as computedr bits tend to.
Should they ever be found I will continue her work.
